Ron Wolford is a role model, not just in the building business but in the community. "Integrity”,” honesty” and “experienced” are words used to describe Ron by all who know him.Ron learned his work ethic and passion for quality, from his father, William Wolford, whose many multi family structures house thousands of individuals in Louisville and Southern Indiana, today. Ron earned his degree in business from Western Kentucky University while working on his father’s job sites, learning the intricacies of individual building crafts.A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Ron Wolford is no stranger to teamwork and winning strategies. As a star football player for Trinity High School, Ron was instrumental in leading their team to the first state championship in the school’s history. Ron started his building company, Wolford Built Homes in 1974 and has won every major building associated award offered in Louisville including The Home Builders Association of Louisville’s Tour of Remodeled Homes “Best of ”, and  has participated in multiple showcase home events including Homearama and The Dream Factories’ “Dream House”. In addition, Ron has been recognized on a national and international level. Professional Remodeler’s Magazine described an acclaimed historic remodel project as “a perfect 10.” Ron is the only Louisville based builder to be featured on the international TV show Cribs and recently won “Best of Houzz, 2013”, as voted on by over 11 million viewers. With over 550 luxury homes created to date, it is no surprise to continually see his exquisitely crafted homes featured in local and national publications.Ron does not just build the best in beautiful homes, he builds relationships and communities. He has been the leader and pioneer in Louisville’s finest developments and an active participant in charitable causes. 



Martha Brown Wolford is a managing partner and lead designer for Wolford, Louisville's premier luxury custom home builder and remodeler. With 40 years as a registered home builder the company has built over 600 homes in the Louisville area and created an extensive portfolio of the cities' most memorable remodels. Wolford's designs have been featured on the national TV shows "Fix It And Finish IT", MTV’s "CRIBS" and has been voted "Best of Houzz" for 3 years running by over 25 million viewers. Martha has an extensive background in art and design and has studied at some of the finest design schools in the world including the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Parson's School of Design in Paris. She brings a unique perspective to each project and aspires to create living spaces that are both "cutting edge" and "value conscious”. Wolford is a leader in setting trends in home design and was the first to implement  many features that are expected in luxury homes today.
