Everybody’s got a room in their home they wished looked bigger. So, here’s a simple trick to create the illusion of more space. Use mirrors to open up your walls. When light bounces back into a room from a well-placed mirror, it makes smaller spaces appear a lot larger. You could choose mirror tiles or one-foot squares to create the look of a paned window in a room. Try vertical mirrors to make your space feel taller. Don’t be afraid to hang a group of different mirrors on the same wall. Paint the frames the same color, and the look will be organized without feeling cluttered.
