How to Fix a Dripping Faucet

Is a dripping faucet driving you crazy? You can fix it. Turn off the stop valves under your sink so water can’t flow. An older faucet handle will come off by simply unscrewing. Once it’s off, remove the chrome cylinder underneath. Then take out the nut that holds the stem in place. Pull out the stem and replace the washer. Newer faucets have seats instead of washers. Make sure you get one that’s made for you faucets brand and model number.
